Product Description
Käsekuchen is a delicious recipe for German cuisine. This cake on a shortbread-like crust can be called a "German cheesecake".
Käsekuchen literal translation is “cheesecake”, and we have a thought that we were dealing with a traditional cheesecake. Which, in general, is correct. Often traditional and German cheesecakes are similar in appearance and in content because some chefs bake Käsekuchen with the addition of Philadelphia or other similar cheeses.
But in a more traditional recipe, German quark cheese goes into the filling, and this is closer to the well-known cheesecake. Hence the second name Quarkkuchen – cottage cheesecake.
Soft, tender, crumbly, melting in the mouth – it's all about Käsekuchen! After baking, there is a fabulous aroma with notes of vanilla spread. If you love cottage cheese, then you should not pass by this cheesecake!
