Product Description
Cream puffs or profiteroles are a world-famous culinary product that belongs to French cuisine. Profiteroles got their original name from the French word “profit”, which translates as "benefit", as well as "advantage".
The official history of profiteroles began in the middle of the XVI century when the recipe for a culinary product was first recorded. But it is believed that profiteroles appeared much earlier. However, according to the main version, profiteroles were invented by an Italian chef Popellini, who was one of the chefs who moved to France from Italy with his queen Catherine de' Medici.
Cream puffs are big in size pastries that are baked from delicate pastry dough. In addition, profiteroles are stuffed with Bavarian cream. A simple but very delicious French dessert!
