Breitsamer honey from sunflower has a bright, clear and sweet taste with fruity notes and a subtle pleasant sourness that gives the honey a super-smooth delicious flavor. But the aroma, in contrast to the taste, is not so pronounced and decreases during crystallization.
Sunflower honey has special beneficial properties because of its extremely high glucose content. During crystallization, a hard crust of whitish color is formed – this is pure glucose, which can be consumed not only as a sweet treat but also as an effective therapeutic and prophylactic agent.
The body assimilates glucose from this variety of honey totally and quickly enough. Honey has a low sugar content (up to 3%), and a large number of vitamins E and PP. Also, this variety of honey has the richest set of amino acids, vital for our body.
